Closed Groups

The closed group format is for held for individuals who want to attend a specific number of session, generally the group will run once a week. This type of therapy allows for a deeper sense of group relationship to be developed. All members will get to know each other and there will be no new attendants once the group has started. We will always start with an opening circle, to see how everyone is doing, then move into art making, and processing/sharing.

Open Themed Groups

The theme based groups are listed below. They will run Bi weekly. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. However, participants are not required to attend ongoing sessions. The groups will run for two hours in length. The session will start off with an opening circle, and move into the art making and then everyone will be given the opportunity to share what they have created. Everyone is open to sharing as much or as little as they like. No pressure!

The Art of Dreams- Exploration of your Dreams

This group could become a closed group if there is an increased amount of interest. As of now this is a weekly group focused on the exploration of your dream world. Every Wednesday starting December 13th and going till January 24th. This group will run from 6pm-8pm.

We all dream and this is an opportunity to look at the symbolism and message your dream is giving you. Come journey and explore your dream world in a safe and confidential space.

Nathania Rodman a professionally trained art therapist will be your Dream Guide. Every individual will be provided with the opportunity to explore a dream they bring with them, through visualization, through creating art, and through reflective writing; Nathania will provide a step by step process that help distill the messages your dream has for you, however will not be making any interpretation to your dreams. In hope through the exploration of your dreams you will be able to have a deeper understanding to what messages are coming through in your dreams and gain a deeper sense of knowledge of self.

Fee: $30 per session or $120 to attend all
* art materials are provided in the fee

* Dream, written out
*Journal
*clothes you can get messy
*any special materials you wish to include in your art making, all other materials are provided

 

Parent/Child Dyad Group
(any ages, by parent discretion)

When: Bi Weekly, Either Saturday  or Wednesdays  @ 10am – 11:30am

Fee: $25 adult, $5 child (max 2)                     $75 for three sessions
The Parent, Child group is an open group format, come when your schedule allows. It will run bi weekly two times a week. However, there is limited spots, so early registration is still encouraged.

This group is focused on the importance of child and parent relationship, and coming together to create artwork together. This allows for connection building. At the end of each session, the dyad takes the artwork home to serve as a reminder of connection shared and can strengthen the bond that was created in the studio.

Middle-Tales

When: Bi Weekly, on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Fee: $30 (one session)                        $75 (3 sessions)

The Middle-Tales group is an open group format, come when your schedule allows. It will run on a bi weekly basis twice a week. However, there is limited spots, so early registration is encouraged.

This group is focused on supporting adults face the challenges that mid life brings. Fairy tales are often assumed to be only for children, however they are timeless, always offering teachings. So the intention of this group will be to look at classic myths that illuminate the middle year of life. Explore the themes of the story that were introduced and create art in relation to the story that was shared.
